Post of the year!

Beauty and the Beast
I don't care that it's a Disney movie, it's a great film!

oscar & lucinda

nice movie, but the end was horrible not only because it was quite the dramatic/unfair end, but also because it didn't make much sense to me. just.. weird
ralph fiennes and cate blanchett were acting well though.

youth without youth - a bloody masterpiece. great acting when it comes to bruno ganz and tim roth, awesome camera angles and nice locations/sets & make up despite the low budget. too bad the movie wasn't so well received, coppola did an amazing job

I watched The Sting yesterday for the first time. Newman and Redford were so good looking I almost threw up. Great chuffing movie. I think I'll watch Amelie today - perfect movie, I could watch it every day...

Perhaps with the exception of John Carpenter, never has a film director lost grip of their genius with more shocking results than Coppola. The man was in charge of two Godfathers, The Conversation and Apocalypse Now all within ONE decade. The fall was long and painful. Jack? Dear, oh dear... I don't see Megalopolis getting made, either.

Any good? I'm guessing by the smiley that it is. Been panned by critics here.

Well, that's fair enough, innit? When Coppola hits, he REALLY hits, so I'll check it out soon enough, let you know what I think...
